Overview
HIM Theology (Hierarchical Inclusive Monotheism) is a scriptural framework that resolves long-standing tensions in Christian theology by clarifying the ordered structure by which the one God reveals Himself and acts in creation. It is neither classical Trinitarianism, Modalism, nor Polytheism, but a restoration of the earliest biblical pattern.
At its core is a simple confession:
There is ONE God — the Source (the Father), unbegotten and alone God in essence.
From Him proceed His Word (Logos), His Spirit (Breath), and His Light (self-manifestation), through whom the Source creates, sustains, reveals, and redeems. These are not separate gods, nor temporary masks, but real distinctions of order, procession, and function within the one divine life.
Christ is the firstborn Son: the Word made flesh, the visible Image of the invisible God. He is divine by nature through the Spirit and fully human through Mary; enthroned as “our God” by the Father’s decree, sharing His authority yet remaining relationally subordinate in origin and role to the Source.
This framework explains:
How Christ can be worshiped without creating multiple gods
How the Spirit acts personally without being a second Source
How the biblical “elohim / sons of God” fit the narrative as created, derivative rulers—never uncreated gods
HIM Theology maintains strict monotheism while honoring the full biblical scope of divine revelation, the restoration of the nations, and the destiny of redeemed humanity in Christ.
